U.S. Ambassador Deborah Malac hosted a reception Thursday evening in honor of Liberia’s 16 2015
#MandelaFellows after their return from the United States. The honorees mingled with other program alumni, Liberian government officials, business leaders, and members of the Diplomatic Corps while discussing President Obama’s signature engagement program with Africa. As part of the festivities, Ambassador Malac welcomed the return of the group members, while forewarning them that much was expected from them in promoting Liberia’s continuing development. Speaking on behalf of the group, 2015 Fellow Rally Fallah thanked the United States for the exchange opportunity and encouraged his colleagues to remain focused on moving Liberia forward.
