Four coordinators of American Spaces completed a rigorous three-day training at the Embassy the week of September 21 as part of their annual training. American Spaces, which are small-scale American-style libraries hosted by educational partners, provide publics outside Monrovia with access to information about the United States. Ambassador Deborah Malac, pictured here with the group, awarded coordinators certificates of completion during a brief ceremony on September 23, marking the end of the training seminar. In attendance were also heads of the four educational institutions hosting American Spaces in Liberia: Booker Washington Institute in Kakata, Margibi County; Grand Bassa Community College in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County; Zorzor Rural Teacher Training Institute in Zorzor, Lofa County; and Zwedru Multilateral High School in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County, see: https://Ir.usembassy.gov
